Roofs 001 The North Eastern Railway was created in 1854 and inherited Hull station from the York & North Midland Railway, renaming it Hull Paragon. The NER rebuilt and expanded the station, reopening it in 1904. It was to be the last of Britain’s great barrel-vaulted glass-and-iron railway stations.
