The Classic MotorCycle 1899-1967 British Motorcycles and the Military. Over
5000 would-be buyers stamped into the great Missenden car dump for the disposal of surplus vehicles by the Goverment, including these motorcycles. It was reported bribes of up to £50 were offered to guards to help secure vehicles.
